Job Description

Boiler Structural & Layout Engineering

Location:
Mumbai
Experience Required
: 1520 Years (Min. 2 Supercritical Boilers)
Experience & Expertise:
Experience in Leading the team for Boiler Structural Design
Hands-on experience in complete structural design, layout engineering, and engineering release of at least Two supercritical boiler projects.
Proficiency in steel structure design, compliance to IS/AISC/Euro Codes, and use of softwares like TEKLA, STAAD, StruCAD, etc.
Thorough knowledge of boiler support structures, wind/seismic loads, and thermal expansion design.
Thorough knowledge of structures of Boiler Auxiliaries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complete structural engineering and layout for the main boiler and auxiliaries
Optimize boiler support systems for stress, stability, and fabrication feasibility
Compliance with various code requirements
Ensure timely and sequential release of structural fabrication documentation to Civil vendors and Structural fabricators.
Handle site discrepancy resolution and feedback incorporation.
Estimate tonnage and cost for structural scope for proposals.
Interface with vendors, site teams, and manufacturing for execution clarity
