Job Description

We are looking for Boiler Operator with certification for our Tea Industry based at The Nilgiris.

The primary responsibilities of Junior Boiler Operator includes

Role & responsibilities

Operate and maintain high pressure boilers and auxiliary boiler plant equipment, Centrifugal chillers, towers and related pumps
Perform routine boiler inspections and data collection as required by operating schedule
Ability to analyze problems / failures and respond to restore, repair and or report
Perform routine boiler feed water treatment analysis and add treatment chemicals as needed
Inspect and monitor fuel feed system equipment, gauge and adjust fuel mixture ratio as required to maintain efficient combustion and furnace operation
Clean water system operation
Maintain daily logs and equipment logs

Preferred candidate profile

Applicants must have Diploma and licensed in 1 / 2 class Boiler Operator
Minimum 5 years of experience after obtaining Boiler operator license with the industrial sector
Proven experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role.
Familiarity with boiler safety regulations and procedures.
