Job Description

As the Blow Molding Specialist, your role involves planning, directing, and coordinating Product Line team operations to exceed customer requirements in terms of cost and quality. You will serve as the Manufacturing Manager overseeing all shift activities and daily production operations. Your responsibilities will also include leading continuous improvement activities and serving as the IPS Facilitator for the Ranipet Facility, which may require unusual hours and travel. The position is salaried and exempt. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Managing Product Line activities such as P&L, manufacturing, machine PM, minor maintenance, quality, scrap, safety, and training of associates. - Overseeing Inergy Production System Activities (IPS) and having the authority to halt production in case of quality or safety issues. - Directing activities to achieve cost savings, analyzing data for trends and improvements, and coaching associates for optimal safety, quality, and productivity standards. You will also have the authority to stop the machine in case of abnormalities and halt shipment and production if product requirements are not met. The role involves interacting with internal interfaces like Down Time, Micro Down Time, MTBF, MTTR, and external interfaces. To qualify for this position, you must have: - At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, with maintenance and blow molding knowledge being advantageous. - Working knowledge of budgets, inventory, costing, scheduling, and customer interface. - Good written and verbal communication skills, human relation skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. A degree in Industrial, Business Management, Engineering, CIPET, or equivalent work experience is required. You should also have a thorough understanding of the assigned Product Line (Fuel Systems), including operations, procedures, products, terminology, quality standards, and equipment. Compliance with all safety rules and regulations is essential. Additionally, you are expected to exhibit behavioral competencies such as listening, enthusiasm, team spirit, perseverance, risk-taking, networking, decision-making, and communication. These competencies are important for impacting the quality of work and interactions at the workplace.
