Blog Post SEO Specialist (On-Page SEO)

Role Overview:



Key Responsibilities:

· Content Creation: Write SEO-optimized blog posts daily with attention to keyword integration, readability, and user experience.

Write and optimize blog content, ensuring it follows SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, schema markup, TOFU-MOFU-BOFU).

· URL Mapping: Map keywords to appropriate URLs, ensuring keyword relevance across the site.

· Keyword Research: Use SEMrush for keyword research, FAQ research, and blog topic ideas to generate relevant content.

· On-Page Optimization: Implement SEO best practices for on-page optimization (meta tags, header tags, internal linking, image alt texts, etc.).

· Content Refresh: Update existing category pages quarterly to ensure ongoing SEO optimization.

· Content Audit & Analysis: Regularly conduct blog content audits using tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush for performance insights.

· Technical Recommendations: Collaborate with the technical team for schema markups and structured data suggestions.

· Traffic & Performance Monitoring: Utilize Google Search Console to monitor indexing, website issues, and sitemap errors, and use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for traffic and conversion tracking.

· Monthly Tasks: Content outlines, blog production, internal linking suggestions, and SEO performance reporting.

· Collaboration: Work with the Off-Page SEO Specialist and Technical SEO Specialist to align content strategies and optimize blog posts.

· Tools Used: SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Moz, Perplexity, Claude AI.

Skills Required:

· Strong writing skills, with expertise in on-page SEO.

· Experience using SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and content optimization AI tools.
