Job Description

Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop Automotive BIW Doors, Closures, and Structures parts.
Apply forming/manufacturability and assembly knowledge to design processes.
Utilize GD&T principles for components and assemblies.
Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate design concepts clearly.

Essential Skills

Engineering degree with 3-6 years of experience in Automotive BIW Doors, Closures, and Structures part design.
Proficiency in UG NX for Part, Surface, and Assembly design.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application to components and assemblies.
Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in BiW structures design using NX (Surface modeling).
Knowledge of Body in White parts.
Previous experience with MBRDI (Daimler CAD methodology) is an added advantage.
