Biomedical Engineer

As an individual in this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to assisting in the designing of different departments" process flows within the Hospital. Your duties will include planning processes, installing, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support for sophisticated Biomedical Equipments. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with suppliers/manufacturers for maintenance activities such as Preventive Maintenance, Safety Maintenance, Shut down Maintenance, and Calibration during warranty/AMC periods of the medical equipment. Your responsibilities will extend to servicing and calibrating both Major & Minor Medical Equipments, attending and supporting On Call situations in clinical areas, evaluating the safety and effectiveness of installed biomedical equipment, and training clinicians and other personnel on equipment usage. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the maximum utilization of the equipment and maintaining documentation as per NABH Accreditation standards of the Hospital. Furthermore, you will collaborate with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists to research the engineering aspects of biological systems in humans and animals. As part of your role, you will be expected to handle any other duties assigned by the management as necessary. This is a Full-time position that requires your presence at the work location in person.,
