BIM Modeler

You are a skilled Plumbing/Mechanical BIM Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed plumbing models using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks. Your primary focus will be on creating, modifying, and coordinating BIM models for plumbing and Mechanical systems in various building projects. Collaborating with the MEP team, architects, and other stakeholders is crucial to ensure accurate plumbing designs that are integrated with other building systems. Your key responsibilities include ensuring the accurate creation and modification of plumbing drawings, performing clash detection, resolving conflicts in plumbing designs using BIM tools, and assisting in the preparation of shop drawings, construction documents, and as-built models. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will support the project team with design coordination, reviews, and documentation management to uphold compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices for plumbing design and BIM modeling. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or related field, or equivalent work experience, along with 1-5 years of experience in plumbing and mechanical design and BIM coordination within the AEC industry. Proficiency in BIM software, a strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and industry best practices, as well as knowledge of clash detection and coordination techniques in BIM are essential. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective task management are key attributes for success. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools, familiarity with advanced BIM workflows, certification or training in BIM management or software, and experience in large-scale commercial or institutional projects.,
