Job Title: BIM Trainer and Mentor

Location: Remote (Part-time)

Responsibilities:

  • BIM Training: Conduct engaging and comprehensive BIM training sessions for students enrolled in our academy. Develop and deliver curriculum content covering various BIM concepts, software tools, and industry best practices.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop their BIM skills, understanding of workflows, and problem-solving abilities. Offer constructive feedback and support to facilitate their growth and professional development. Help students build a portfolio for interviews and job placements
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the instructional design team to create and enhance training materials, exercises, and assessments to ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
  • Remote Support: Assist students remotely by answering their questions, addressing technical issues, and providing guidance through virtual communication channels, including email, discussion forums, and video conferencing.
  • Industry Insights: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in the BIM field. Share industry insights, case studies, and real-world examples with students to provide practical relevance to their learning.


Qualifications:

  • BIM Experience:

    Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the field of Building Information Modeling,

    working on real-world projects. Proficiency in popular

    BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is required.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to convey complex BIM concepts in a clear and concise manner. Patience and empathy in guiding students through the learning process.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Experience in conducting training sessions or mentoring individuals in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and skill levels.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve BIM-related challenges. Familiarity with troubleshooting common BIM software issues is preferred.
  • Continuous Learning: A self-driven and proactive learner who keeps up with the latest BIM technologies, workflows, and industry trends. Relevant certifications and professional development courses are a plus.
  • Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely and leveraging virtual communication tools effectively. Reliable internet connection and necessary hardware/software for conducting online training sessions.
