Role Summary - The BIM Manager is responsible for the people management and BIM function to ensure accurate and timely outputs that support the successful delivery of Building Services projects for ME team in WSP India. Responsibilities - • Responsible for the Leadership and support of their team • Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies • Ensure the right resources are utilised effectively at the right time across disciplines. • Support the recruitment and selection process • Work closely with the Middle East office to ensure required BIM standards are followed. • Conduct and input into meaningful inductions, performance management reviews and personal development plans that support the development of individuals and the business. • Conduct team interviews and input into succession planning and career development across the BIM function • Support the development and delivery of training and awareness sessions • Input into the business unit strategy and facilitate implementation across project team • Attend team meetings and input into the agenda as required • Lead team meetings and cascade relevant information and encourage feedback from team and wider business • Lead by example and ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across their team • Provide guidance and support the companies approach to Sustainability and ensure the Sustainability strategy is implemented Technical - • Input into the work of the Technical Working Group (TWG) • Lead and facilitate the improvement of CAD and BIM standards, routines, processes and libraries across WSP in India ME • Create project specific BIM protocol documents as required. • Keep up to date with industry developments with respect to own discipline. Including keeping abreast of trends and advances within the BIM industry and promote / advise of new technologies that will maintain WSP in India ME position as a cutting edge market leader. • Develop technical capabilities of the BIM function • Review the quality of models and drawings completed by the team Key Competencies / Skills Mandatory Skills : • Experience of working on modelling, coordination and managing of International Projects • Experience and proven ability to manage Building Services BIM team • Expert user of AutoCAD and BIM and Navisworks • Experienced user of MS Office • Excellent working knowledge of BIM software. Must have good capability on the below : • BIM model setup • Model linking procedures • BIM modelling concepts and procedures • Copy / Monitor procedures • Work-sharing • Work sets • Family creation • View setup and browser organization • View templates • Visibility / Graphics Overrides • Tagging and annotation procedures • Sheet creation and management • Schedule creation and management • BIM Parameters • Navisworks Export Desired Skills : • Post-graduation shall be added advantage. • Member of Professional body such as Autodesk User Group International (AUGI) Criteria : ISO 19650 Protocols Information exchange protocols Model federation strategy Develop information management docs. Pre and post BEP Minimum 15 years overall experience Minimum 10 years experience in Middle East market Qualifications • Preferable to have an Architecture background or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
