Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Address MEP design issues, propose alternative solutions, and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
  • Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
  • Support scoping, budgeting, and justification of MEP change orders.
  • Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP subcontractor.
  • Coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and review of shop drawings.
  • Ensure that MEP subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records and Project safety regulations.
  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.

Attributes:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Practical knowledge of plans, prints, drawings, specifications, and schematics related to the trade.
  • Follow construction procedures and practices.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Revit, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Navisworks, and similar software.
  • Exhibits sound communication skills as well as drafting and writing skills.
