Key Responsibilities

• Handle point cloud registration workflows using Leica Register 360 or similar software.
• Process, clean, convert, and stitch raw scan data into usable formats.
• Align point cloud data with project coordinate systems for accurate integration.
• Import and manage point cloud datasets within BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
• Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and engineers to validate and verify as-built conditions.
• Support project teams with accurate scan-to-BIM deliverables.
• Maintain data organization, file structures, and quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest point cloud technologies and methods for improved efficiency.
• Create detailed and accurate BIM models (Architectural, Structural, MEP elements) from point cloud data, adhering to project-specific LOD (Level of Detail/Development) requirements.
• Model existing conditions including walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, structural elements (columns, beams, foundations), and MEP systems (ducts, pipes, conduits, equipment).
• Utilize advanced modeling techniques to capture complex geometries and irregular shapes from scan data.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Point Cloud Registration Tools: Expertise in Leica Register 360, Cyclone, or similar software.
• BIM Platforms: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and IFC workflows.
• Knowledge of scan-to-BIM workflows, model alignment, and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, surveying, and georeferencing.
• Ability to handle large datasets with efficiency and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to coordinate across disciplines.
