Billing Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate client billing in compliance with contracts and project terms.
• Review electrical project work orders, BOQs, drawings, and material consumption sheets to ensure correctness of bills.
• Coordinate with project/site engineers to validate measurement sheets and work progress for billing.
• Prepare RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, and subcontractor/vendor bills. • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and client specifications.
• Maintain billing records, reconciliation statements, and MIS reports for management review. • Follow up with clients for timely bill certification and payment collection.
• Handle rate analysis, cost estimation, and verification of extra/additional work claims.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate billing data and documentation. • Work closely with accounts and finance teams to ensure proper entry and clearance of bills.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, BOQ, contracts, and project execution terminology.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and billing tools.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good understanding of taxation, GST, and compliance in billing.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams and clients.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple billing assignments.

Desired Candidate Profile --

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in billing, preferably in electrical contracting, EPC, or infrastructure projects.

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

• Experience in project billing, subcontractor/vendor billing, and client interaction.

• Knowledge of electrical materials, site measurements, and consumption norms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
