Job Summary

MEP Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Measurement

• Prepare

  RA bills, final bills, and variation bills

  for MEP works (Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV & Plumbing).
• Take off quantities from

  approved GFC drawings

  , as-built drawings, and site measurements.
• Verify subcontractor bills and recommend payments after validation.
• Maintain measurement books (MBs) and billing records as per contract terms.
  

Cost Control & Variations

• Track MEP quantities against BOQs and budgets.
• Identify, document, and process

  extra items and variations

  with proper justification.
• Assist in cost forecasting and reconciliation of MEP works.
  

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and contractors for billing approvals.
• Ensure billing compliance with contractual terms, specifications, and company policies.
• Prepare and submit billing-related MIS reports to management.

Corporate InteriorsSpecific Responsibilities

• Handle billing for

  office interiors MEP systems

  including:
• Electrical (lighting, power, UPS, data)
• HVAC (VRF, ducting, insulation)
• Fire alarm & fire fighting systems
• Plumbing, drainage & water supply
• ELV systems (CCTV, access control, BMS)
  
• Manage fast-track billing cycles typical of corporate interior projects.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  MEP BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contracts

• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, MS Excel

  , and billing software
• Good understanding of corporate interior MEP systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy in quantity measurement
• Strong coordination and communication skills
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with

  corporate office fit-outs / commercial interior

• Exposure to

  turnkey interior projects

• Experience working with consultants and PMC teams
