Billing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Keeping records of measurement /clients/department billing/verification by clients/department.
• Quantity Analysis, Quantity survey.
• Co-ordination for preconstruction activities and timely mobilization of resources to undertake pre-construction activities on timely basis.
• Preparation of MPR, DPR, WPR, understanding the scope of work, and quantity estimation. Daily & weekly work schedules. Obtain measurements from site engineers.
• Preparation of contractor and client bills & process, procurement & resource plan, work orders. Evaluation and monitoring of sub-contractor bills. Study the drawings and calculations of material, BOQ with item rates.
• Review of micro level monthly program of coming month and macro level program for next three months.
• Reconciliation of materials and bills and get certification.
• Follow up with the Accounts department for payments. Project-related documentation, correspondence, and drawings.
• Attend project progress review meetings. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legal compliance.
• Review of Root causes for slippages.
• Correspondence with department and agency.
• Need to visit sites for measurement / docs / department handling / TPI etc.
• Coordination with Project Managers / Site Engineers / Department / TPI / Agency etc.
• Assisting in ERP Implementation

Preferred candidate profile

BE / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and relevant exp. in Civil construction / Irrigation / water supply / Bridge etc.

• Knowledge of civil construction & related work, IS codes, study of drawing, Estimation & Costing, Bar Bending Schedule, Rate Analysis, Labour & Machinery Analysis.
• Skills - Communication, Trouble shooting, Detailing, Reporting, Accuracy, Timelines etc.
