Job Title: Big Data Engineer – Premium BFSI Client

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Pune
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Salary: ₹20–26 LPA (Max)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Only (Serving candidates preferred)

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Big Data Engineer for our premium BFSI client. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment. Candidates must have a strong background in data engineering and proven experience in designing scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage scalable ETL data pipelines using tools like DataStage and Control-M
• Design and maintain Hadoop-based architectures
• Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams
• Enforce data governance, version control, and security best practices
• Convert business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical training

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong in Python, Snowflake, SQL, DataStage
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, Hive
• Cloud exposure (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with Kafka, Linux/Unix scripting, and core Java
• Solid understanding of ETL, data modeling, and warehousing

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Background in data governance & security
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
