Must Have Skills:

  • Hadoop Ecosystem Expertise

    – Strong hands-on experience with

    HDFS, Hive, Spark, YARN, Ranger, and Cloudera/Hortonworks/CDP

    platforms.

  • DevOps & Automation

    – Proven ability to build

    CI/CD pipelines

    , automate cluster management, and deploy using tools like

    Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

    .

  • Cloud Data Platforms

    – Deep understanding of

    AWS, Azure, or GCP Big Data services

    (e.g., EMR, Dataproc, HDInsight) and their integration with Hadoop.

  • Programming & Scripting

    – Proficiency in

    Python, Scala, or Java

    for developing, optimizing, and automating big data workflows.

  • Data Security & Governance

    – Strong grasp of

    authentication and authorization mechanisms

    (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML) and governance practices for secure data management.
