Could you be the full-time Bid Technical Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and strategic expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of technically robust and cost-competitive proposals that align with our standard solutions and commercial strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Solutions Teams, Sales Teams, and Services Engineering Teams, while coordinating with external stakeholders such as potential customers and key subcontractors.
You’ll specifically take care of performing requirements compliance analysis and defining technical strategies, but also leading the preparation and consolidation of technical documentation to be delivered with bids.
We’ll look to you for:
- Analysing technical gaps between customer specifications and standard solutions
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical strategies
- Preparing and leading Technical Design Reviews
- Developing risk mitigation plans with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) impact
- Supporting the Bid Manager during customer negotiations
- Providing engineering effort estimates and ensuring a smooth handover to the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) in case of contract award

- A university degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 1-5 years of experience in Railways System/Application Engineering for Engineers or 6-10 years for Senior Engineers
- Knowledge of rolling stock equipment
- Experience working on tenders and/or projects
- Problem-solving capacity, including technical and cost evaluations
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated mindset
- Effective and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
