Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Axis Bank Limited The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the banking industry

Roles and Responsibility
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets
  • Manage and lead a team of sales executives to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Ensure achievement of Top line Business Targets through channel teams, building and nurturing relationships with bank branches, and by cross-selling other products
  • Conduct sales promotion activities in open market and improve relationships through expos and events, various activities, etc
  • Launch new products in the market and ensure key customer satisfaction through high-quality service
  • Handle all end-to-end activities related to the product, from login to disbursement
  • Liaise with various departments within the system (Credit/Operations, etc) to ensure smooth process flows
  • Acquire channel partners for sourcing products - Connectors, etc, and improve relationships with branches while monitoring ARMs performance
  • Prevent or minimize fraudulent/risky proposals entry into the system and provide timely feedback to central teams for improvements in product features and processes
  • Train Sales executives on selling/products and foster a performance-oriented environment through effective team management, leading to high employee motivation and productivity
Job Requirements
  • Good communication skills in both English and the local language
  • Excellent lead generation and conversion skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • High sales orientation to consistently meet sales targets
  • Ability to manage complex client situations
  • Ability to coach and mentor others
  • Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
  • Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognized institute is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the banking industry
