Role & responsibilities

  • Manage Verification Process

    : Initiate, track, and ensure timely completion of background checks (employment, education, address, criminal, references).
  • Stakeholder Communication

    : Liaise with candidates, hiring managers, HR, and external vendors for smooth workflow and issue resolution.
  • Vendor Management

    : Coordinate with third-party verification agencies, monitor their performance (SLA, TAT), and conduct regular reviews.
  • Quality & Compliance

    : Ensure all checks meet internal quality standards, SOPs, and legal requirements (data privacy, employment laws).
  • Reporting & Documentation

    : Maintain accurate records, update MIS, prepare reports, and support audits.
  • Process Improvement

    : Identify bottlenecks and suggest enhancements for efficiency and compliance.
  • Escalation Handling

    : Investigate and resolve complex cases and escalated issues.
