Role & responsibilities

• Machine Operation:

Setting up and operating shrink wrap machines, including adjusting settings for film type, heat, speed, and alignment based on product specifications.

• Material Handling:

Loading and unloading shrink film rolls, packaging materials, and products onto the machine or conveyor system.

• Quality Control:

Inspecting wrapped products for proper seals, correct labeling, and overall package appearance, ensuring they meet quality standards.

• Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs to keep the machine in good working order.

• Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving basic machine malfunctions or issues during operation, escalating more complex problems to maintenance personnel.

• Monitoring:

Continuously monitoring the machine's performance, including film feed, sealing, and shrinking processes, to ensure efficient and consistent operation.

• Record Keeping:

Maintaining production records, documenting material usage, and reporting on production output.

• Safety:

Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Collaboration:

Working effectively with other team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and achieve daily targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Aptitude:

Ability to understand and operate machinery, including making adjustments and troubleshooting basic issues.

• Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accuracy in product wrapping, sealing, and labeling to meet quality standards.

• Problem-Solving Skills:

Identifying and resolving machine malfunctions or workflow issues.

• Communication Skills:

Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors regarding machine operation, issues, and production progress.
