Inventory Management: They maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments. Issuance and Distribution: Processing Orders: Storekeepers fulfill requests for materials from various departments or customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Maintaining Records: They track the movement of materials, updating inventory records and ensuring proper documentation. Issuing Materials: They issue materials to authorized personnel, ensuring proper authorization and handling procedures are followed. Other Key Responsibilities: Physical Inventory Counts: Storekeepers conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify records and identify discrepancies. Maintaining Security: They ensure the security of the store and materials, preventing theft and damage. Compliance: They adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and safety.
