Receiving and Storage:

• Receiving Goods: Storekeepers receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
• Storage: They organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Inventory Management: They maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.

Issuance and Distribution:

• Processing Orders: Storekeepers fulfill requests for materials from various departments or customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintaining Records: They track the movement of materials, updating inventory records and ensuring proper documentation.
• Issuing Materials: They issue materials to authorized personnel, ensuring proper authorization and handling procedures are followed.

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Physical Inventory Counts: Storekeepers conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify records and identify discrepancies.
• Maintaining Security: They ensure the security of the store and materials, preventing theft and damage.
• Compliance: They adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and safety.
• Communication: They communicate effectively with suppliers, internal departments, and other stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: They address any issues related to inventory, storage, or discrepancies.
