Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operate assigned production machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Set up machines, load materials, and adjust controls to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor machine performance and production output to meet quality and quantity targets.
Conduct basic preventive maintenance and routine checks of machines.
Identify machine abnormalities and report breakdowns to maintenance team immediately.
Ensure adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and shop-floor discipline.
Maintain production records, check sheets, and daily output reports.
Perform first-level quality checks and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support continuous improvement, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams for efficient operations.
