Benchmarking Analyst

Role Overview: You will be responsible for analyzing automotive technologies, studying functions and architecture, evaluating new technologies, and providing support to the engineering team. Additionally, you will be involved in benchmarking activities, root cause analysis, and implementing design/quality issue countermeasures. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze automotive technologies, including conventional components and design philosophy of competitors" vehicles from customers" perspectives - Study functions, architecture, and integration of electrical and electronics systems - Conduct design, cost, weight analysis, and performance evaluation of new technologies, and provide analysis summary reports - Share and release benchmarking sheets and analysis summary reports - Analyze benchmarking ideas for implementation in MSIL models - Study upcoming technologies through benchmarking activities and collaborate with the engineering team - Utilize root cause analysis skills and develop countermeasures for design/quality issues Competency Requirements: - Experience in design, development, or testing in at least one domain area such as engine electrical, body electrical, controllers, connected technologies, ADAS systems, or comfort and convenience technologies - Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics system functions and integration - Ability to evaluate technology on vehicles and understand the hardware, controllers, and sensors used - Familiarity with performance, safety, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures of technology systems/subsystems - Understanding of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, and cost estimation - Hands-on experience with market issues Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering (Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.),
