Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support our construction team with material testing, quality control, and laboratory analysis. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing tests on construction materials (such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates) to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure the quality and safety of construction materials used on site. Key Responsibilities: Material Testing & Analysis: Perform routine and specialized tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates. Conduct tests according to standard procedures and report results accurately. Ensure that all materials are tested in compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Quality Control & Assurance: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols for materials testing. Monitor and ensure the consistent quality of materials used in construction, providing feedback to project teams on findings. Conduct regular inspections of lab equipment, ensuring it is maintained and calibrated to meet industry standards.
