Job Description

  • Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provide exceptional guest service, reinforcing Hyatt's Values and culture characteristics.
  • Follow the Cycle of service of Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi and adhere to all skills trained in the departmental core Training.
  • Take care of equipment as if it were your own and communicate effectively between all internal workplace restaurant departments.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any problems, including par levels as set by management.
  • Adhere to correct restaurant pathways and alert potential problems to your direct supervision before they arise.
  • Attend all training sessions with an avid interest in learning and education surrounding your venue and products.
  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotels policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned, updating guest notes 100% (making detailed notes after service on each table).
  • Be charismatic and able to make conversation easily with various people, driven by achieving a rounded sales experience using selling skills.
  • Manage dedicated working areas and delegate where appropriate, meeting sales mix expectations and forecasts.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the local industry and follow international and local Bar and Drink trends.
  • Closely follow and complete opening and closing procedures and checklists for the bar, obtaining a manager signature.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly and report any concerns to the duty manager immediately.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bartending role.
  • Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Hyatt's Values and culture characteristics.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Familiarity with international and local Bar and Drink trends.
  • Ability to update guest notes 100% (making detailed notes after service on each table).
