Job Description

Role Overview:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light snacks while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, café hygiene standards, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and understanding their preferences.
Handle cash register/POS transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café area, equipment, and utensils.
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages to supervisors.
Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and café SOPs.
Support the café team during peak operations with efficiency and teamwork.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Barista or in a café environment preferred (freshers with training can be considered).
Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and beverage preparation.
Passion for coffee and customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
