Equipment operation: Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and other tools. Coffee knowledge: Understanding different brewing methods, roasts, and beverage types like lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos. Point-of-Sale (POS) and cash handling: Accurately taking orders. Food safety and sanitation: Adhering to health and hygiene standards, and maintaining a clean work area and equipment. Customer service: Being friendly, attentive, and helpful to ensure a positive customer experience. Communication: Clearly communicating with customers, taking orders, and explaining menu options. Speed and efficiency: Working quickly and accurately, especially during busy periods.
