About the Role

Senior Barista

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and other specialty drinks with consistency.
Maintain coffee standards, brewing parameters, and cleanliness across the bar.
Engage with customers warmly, ensuring a great caf experience.
Guide junior baristas, support training, and uphold SOPs.
Manage daily bar setup, calibration, and closing duties.
Monitor inventory for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bar supplies; highlight requirements to the Outlet Manager.
Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are met as per company policies.
Manage peak-hour pressure with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
Maintain knowledge of seasonal menus, new brews, and specialty offerings.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum
5 years of barista experience
in a specialty coffee environment.
Excellent knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, brewing methods, and equipment handling.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to mentor junior team members.
Well-versed in caf operational workflows.
Good understanding of POS billing and cash-handling processes.

Preferred Skills

Certification in Barista Training / Specialty Coffee (optional but preferred).
Basic knowledge of caf maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
Passion for coffee, flavor profiles, and continuous learning.
