As a Banquet Supervisor, your role involves overseeing the execution of banquet events such as weddings, conferences, and corporate meetings to ensure high-quality service and smooth operations. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen, service staff, and event planners to exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown to ensure seamless execution. - Coordinate with the kitchen and event planners for the proper arrangement and maintenance of all event spaces. - Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues that may arise during events. - Monitor staff performance, provide necessary training, and manage staff schedules effectively. - Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, enforcing health, safety, and sanitation standards. - Prepare event reports, communicate feedback to management, and oversee the flow of service to ensure guest satisfaction. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in banquet operations or a similar role within the hospitality industry. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and resolve conflicts quickly. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as most events occur outside regular business hours. - Ability to anticipate potential issues, maintain a positive and professional demeanor, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
