Role : Sales Executive/Banquet Sales

Industry Type : Hotels & Restaurants

Department : Sales & Business Development

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Executive has primary responsibility and accountability for marketing, directing and supervising the daily operations and functions of the Hospitality-Sales & Marketing Section with high standard of service to Members and Guests.

  • Meet sales targets and to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Responsible for sales and costs to ensure maximum results
  • Actively participate in development of sales and marketing plans for the Club
  • Responsible for selling all banquet facilities and Other services
  • To meet customer before event starts and to ensure proper arrangement of events
  • Ensure timely updates of event orders and internal system
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Management
  • Candidate go to the fields and meet the corporates and travel agencies to generate the business

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years to 6 Years of working experience in Hospitality -Sales
  • Degree in any related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Good Looking

1. Determine room rates based on the selling strategies of the hotel.

2. Prepare letters of room booking confirmation.

3. Communicate reservation information to the front desk.

4. Possess thorough knowledge of the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.

5. Possess thorough knowledge of the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.

6. Possess thorough knowledge of the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.

7. Process cancellations and modifications and relay information promptly to the front desk.

Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

8. Process advance deposits on reservations.

9. Track future room availabilities on the basis of reservations.

10. Help develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts.

11. Prepare the expected arrival list for front office use.

12.Handle daily correspondence, respond to inquiries.

13. Good Knowledge in Hotel Industry.
