Banking Trainer

Job Summary:

The Banking Officer is responsible for providing efficient and high-quality banking services to customers, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves handling customer accounts, processing transactions, promoting financial products, and maintaining strong customer relationships to support the banks growth and service objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and other routine banking transactions.
• Promote and cross-sell banking products and services (e.g., loans, deposits, insurance, credit cards).
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions and maintenance of customer records.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Support branch operations, including cash management, account reconciliation, and reporting.
• Verify documents and ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and other regulatory standards.
• Assist in achieving branch sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth delivery of banking services.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of customer information at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking or financial services preferred (entry-level roles may accept fresh graduates).
• Strong knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and core banking systems.
