Banking Senior Analyst - C10, Officer

As a member of the Mumbai Industry Analytics Group at Citi, your role will involve working on various Investment Banking analyses, including market valuation, financial analysis, and impact assessment of corporate transactions on key financial indicators. You will be responsible for industry analysis, company analysis, valuation, and preparing newsletters for senior management. Your work will contribute to providing advice and services to IB bankers" clients in the areas of M&A, financings, and strategic advisory. Key Responsibilities: - Research and prepare industry and market overviews - Analyze specific company business operations, financial information, and operational KPIs - Conduct relative valuation, including comparable and precedent transaction analysis - Prepare newsletters on specific industries/companies for senior management - Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality output and manage deliverables - Partner with clients to explore new projects from the franchises - Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts - General awareness of the changing market scenario - Analytical approach with good attention to details - Project management skills for delivering client-ready work products - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work in teams and promote constructive dialogue - Proactive in generating innovative ideas to improve existing approaches - Effective decision-making and conflict resolution abilities - Recognize and respect the confidentiality of information Education: - MBA / CA / Masters in Finance Please note that this position is full-time and falls under the Job Family of Investment Banking within the Institutional Banking category at Citi.
