Bag & Accessories Merchandiser

You will be joining Happy Earth-Home & Lifestyle, a women-led enterprise that specializes in creating eco-friendly home and lifestyle products from recycled waste plastic bottles. As a Bag & Accessories Merchandiser based in Sonipat, your role will involve managing the entire product life cycle. This includes conceptualizing and designing new products, overseeing production, and engaging with buyers. Collaboration with the design and marketing teams will be essential to identify market trends, develop product strategies, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality items. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from reputable institutions like NIFT, Pearl, or similar design colleges. Your expertise should extend to the export of home decor and lifestyle accessories such as bags, storage baskets, and home decor. Previous experience in product merchandising, sourcing, and development for export houses will be highly valued. Additionally, you must possess the ability to analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings. Effective communication and negotiation skills are crucial for engaging with buyers, while strong organizational and time management abilities are necessary for successful task execution. Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Excel, CAD, Adobe, and CorelDRAW is required for this role. Prior experience in the export industry is a prerequisite, and familiarity with ethical sourcing and production practices is considered advantageous.
