Badminton Coach

Role Overview

Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Badminton Coach to join our physical education department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality training sessions, fostering skill development, and mentoring students in the sport of badminton. The role involves both technical coaching and ensuring students' physical fitness, aligning with the school’s curriculum and sports policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, structure, and deliver effective badminton training sessions for students of varying skill levels

* Instruct and demonstrate proper techniques, footwork, and strategies

* Monitor and assess student performance and progress

* Mentor students and instill discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship

* Organize inter-house and inter-school badminton matches and tournaments

* Collaborate with the physical education team to support students’ overall physical development

* Ensure safety, discipline, and inclusivity during all training sessions

* Keep updated with current trends and best practices in badminton coaching and student fitness

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) – Mandatory

* Proven experience coaching badminton with strong technical expertise

* Ability to develop and execute structured training programs

* Excellent leadership, motivational, and mentoring abilities

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* High level of physical fitness and ability to demonstrate badminton skills effectively

* Prior experience working in a school or educational setup is an added advantage

* Commitment to continuous professional development
