Backend Operations & Compliance Lead – Direct Insurance Brokerage

About the Role

We’re launching Charyas Insurance as a lean, high-speed direct brokerage. This role is the engine room of the company covering operations, compliance, claims coordination, and revenue tracking. They will make sure policies are issued fast, clients are served well, and every rupee of commission is accounted for.

Core Functions

1. Ops + Compliance – Issue policies, manage endorsements & renewals, keep IRDAI records and filings accurate and on time.
2. Claims + Customer Service – Handle claims start to finish, keep customers updated, and push settlements.
3. Accounts + MIS – Track all sales, premiums, and commissions; reconcile with insurer statements; produce daily/weekly reports.

3 Non-Negotiables

1. Detail Obsession – No policy errors, no missed filings, no untracked rupee.
2. Follow-Through – If a claim or commission is pending, chase it until it’s closed.
3. Compliance Discipline – 100% IRDAI compliance, every time, no shortcuts.

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years in insurance operations, compliance, or claims (brokerage, insurer, or TPA).
• Strong Excel/MIS skills and experience with insurer portals.
• Ownership mindset — takes responsibility, not just tasks.
