Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer (API & Microservices) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, and working with microservices architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and reliable backend Responsibilities : & Microservices Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Build and optimize scalable microservices-based backend applications.
  

Backend Engineering

• Implement server-side logic using Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services efficiently.
  

Database Management

• Design and maintain database schemas (SQL & NoSQL).
• Ensure efficient query performance, indexing, and data integrity.
  

Security & Authentication

• Implement authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
• Ensure compliance with security best practices in API development.
  

Performance & Scalability

• Optimize backend services for performance and reliability.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve backend performance bottlenecks.
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless integration.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented Skills & Qualifications :
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), and/or Java (Spring Boot).
• Solid experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of API authentication & authorization standards (JWT, OAuth2, SAML).
• Hands-on experience in microservices architecture & containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical to Have :
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs.
• Exposure to cloud-native backend design patterns.
