Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Python to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in server-side development, database management, and API design, with a passion for building scalable and efficient backend systems. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Python - Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services - Implement asynchronous programming patterns and manage concurrent processes - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval - Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver integrated solutions - Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment processes - Troubleshoot and debug production issues - Write comprehensive unit tests and documentation Please send your resumes to support@reelwise.in Required Qualifications Experience & Education - 3+ years of professional software development experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in Python programming - Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and async task management - Knowledge of Python coding standards and best practices* (PEP 8, code organization, design patterns) - Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) - Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) - Hands-on experience with API development using FastAPI or Django - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker preferred) Preferred Qualifications - Experience with message queues and pub/sub systems (Redis, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or similar) - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Experience with microservices architecture - Familiarity with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) - Understanding of security best practices in backend development - Experience with monitoring and logging tools - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques Show more Show less
