Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to design, develop, and deploy backend solutions for our travel and visa accessibility platform.
• Utilize your expertise in Node.js to build robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services.
• Implement and maintain database schemas and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Work with DevOps tools and practices to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our infrastructure.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in the development of technical strategies to support business objectives.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Node.js and proficiency in server-side JavaScript development.
• Strong understanding of database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven track record of working in a startup environment and driving projects from conception to execution.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup culture and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset to solve complex technical challenges.

• Previous experience in a startup environment, preferably having witnessed and contributed to scaling initiatives.
• A background in building location-based services or platforms.
• Graduated from a reputable institution or possess equivalent industry experience.
