We are looking for a skilled

Backend Developer (Node JS)

to design, build, and optimize high-performance backend systems for Quantiply – a fully automated, fast, and reliable algo trading platform for Nifty & Bank Nifty, Futures & Options. You’ll be working on scalable server-side architectures that power advanced trading strategies, real-time execution, live monitoring, and performance-boosting features for intraday traders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex, high-performance Node.js applications
  • Build and maintain scalable server-side architectures using Node.js and related technologies
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries for both NoSQL and SQL databases
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs while ensuring system reliability
  • Optimize application performance through profiling and monitoring
  • Handle high-traffic scenarios and implement them
  • Participate in system design discussions and architectural decision-making
  • Establish and enforce coding standards and development workflows

Must have:

  • 4+ years experience in shipping high-quality Node.js code to production.
  • Fluency in Node.js frameworks like Express, Fastify, Koa, NestJS.
  • Experience with real-time applications - WebSockets, Socket.io.
  • Proficiency in database technologies like MongoDB and Redis.
  • Git mastery - version control & branching strategies
  • Good understanding of distributed systems concepts - how they work & scale.

Good to Have:

  • Message queues (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus)
  • Containerisation (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
