What You’ll Work On:

backend developer

• Designing and developing

  robust APIs

  to power frontend apps
• Integrating

  serverless technologies

  using

  Cloudflare Workers

  and

  Durable Objects

• Handling authentication

  and

  access control

  using

  Clerk.dev

• Building scalable database schemas

  using

  PostgreSQL

  and

  Supabase

• Working with real-time systems

  using

  WebSockets

• Occasionally supporting legacy integrations

  with

  PHP & Laravel

• Collaborating with frontend engineers, product leads,

  and

  clients

  to shape the product experience
• Leveraging

  AI-based dev tools

  like

  GitHub Copilot, Cursor,

  or

  Cody

  to work faster and smarter
• Familiarity with

  Linux environments

  , including

  SSH access

  and

  Docker

  for development and deployment tasks

Communication & Control:

• REST APIs

• WebSockets

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in

  TypeScript-based backend/API development

• Familiarity with Cloudflare Worker architecture

  and

  Durable Objects

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Supabase,

  and modern

  authentication flows

• Good command over WebSocket logic

  and

  real-time data handling

• Working knowledge of PHP

  and

  Laravel

  for supporting tasks
• Practical experience using

  AI-enhanced developer tools

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, async remote team

• Excellent English reading and writing skills

  (for documentation, tickets, collaboration)

Compensation & Contract:

• $8USD/hour

  (depending on experience and expertise)
• Paid monthly via
