Backend and AI Engineer

KenomeAI, a bootstrapped startup building a next-gen enterprise AI workflow automation and knowledge search platform, is looking for a full-time AI and Backend Engineer to join our founding team onsite in Gurgaon, Haryana. What You’ll Do: Design and develop scalable backend systems for a large SaaS platform Work with Python, FastAPI, and Alembic for backend development and migrations Plan and implement system architecture with a focus on session management, audit logging, RBAC, resource management, and deployment Build and extend AI-driven features using LangChain and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Ensure security, compliance, and robust performance in all backend components Collaborate on both new projects and large existing codebases Skills We’re Looking For: Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and Alembic Understanding of session management, audit logging, RBAC, and resource management Experience with system design for SaaS, including security and compliance best practices Familiarity with developing AI based platforms, especially LangChain and MCP (Model Context Protocol by Anthropic) Experience working with large, existing codebases Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus Who Can Apply: No minimum years of experience required Open to college students, recent graduates, and experienced developers—if you can work full-time onsite It is alright if you don't have all of the above skills.
