About the Role

Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and ExpressJS.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.
Integrate with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases to deliver efficient data services.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

Requirements

Minimum of
4 years of commercial backend development experience
.
Strong proficiency with
Node.js
and
ExpressJS
.
Experience with
PostgreSQL
and
MongoDB
, including database design and optimization.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Must be
based in India
and able to work remotely full-time.

Nice to Have

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Exposure to microservices architecture.
Unit and integration testing experience (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
