Job Title Azure Solution Architect Location Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad Exp range 8 to 17 years Notice period immediate to 30 days Skills Mandate 4+ years as solution architect , preferred candidates from oil & gas domain / manufacturing domain If not in oil & gas but in other domain project exp you can still apply if you have solution architect exp of 4+ years About The Role : We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing both homegrown and commercial off-the-shelf IT solutions using Microsoft Azure, with a specific focus on the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires working closely with stakeholders, evaluating technology options, and guiding development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions, with a strong emphasis on application modernization. Key Responsibilities : 1. Architectural Leadership : - Serve as the Azure Solution Architect with deep sector knowledge, setting the direction for cloud architecture and ensuring alignment with the organization's technical strategy and Oil & Gas industry standards. - Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards specific to the Oil & Gas sector. 2. Technology Roadmap : - Develop and maintain an Azure-focused technology roadmap aligned with the organization's long-term goals. - Identify and evaluate new Azure services and features that can drive technological innovation. - Strategically plan and implement upgrades to enhance the organization's competitive position and improve the scalability of Azure-based solutions. 3. Solution Design : - Lead the design and architecture of complex Azure solutions, ensuring scalability, robust security, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the specific demands of the Oil & Gas industry. 4. Stakeholder Engagement : - Collaborate with various service lines, including engineering divisions and business stakeholders, to align Azure architectural strategies with core business objectives. - Effectively communicate Azure technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making. 5. Mentorship and Guidance : - Provide Azure technical leadership and mentorship to solution teams. - Foster an environment of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence across the organization. 6. Compliance and Best Practices : - Ensure that Azure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry-specific standards, including those related to safety, environment, and operations. 7. Risk Assessment : - Proactively identify and assess technical risks associated with Azure infrastructure and applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. - Identify potential risks during the solution development phase and create comprehensive risk mitigation plans. 8. Industry Expertise : - Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and standards in the Oil & Gas industry. - Evaluate the impact of new technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption in future solution designs and architectural improvements. 9. Vendor Management : - Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners to evaluate third-party solutions compatible with Azure. - Ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions with the broader Azure architectural strategy and business objectives. Mandatory Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect. - Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and implementation. - Experience working within the Oil & Gas industry.
