Job Description

Industry & Sector:

Hiring for a technology services firm focused on Cloud Data Engineering and analytics delivery for enterprise customers. The role supports large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads on AWS for clients across finance, retail, and SaaS domains. On-site role located in India.

Primary Job Title:

AWS Data Engineer (On-site, India)Role & Responsibilities

Design, build and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS to ingest, transform, and deliver analytical datasets for reporting and ML use-cases.
Author and optimise Spark-based jobs (PySpark) and AWS Glue ETL to process large, structured and semi-structured data with reliable performance and cost control.
Implement and maintain data storage and query architectures using S3, Redshift, and query services (e.g., Athena) to meet SLAs for latency and concurrency.
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to translate business requirements into data models, partitioning strategies, and lifecycle policies.
Build observability and automation: CI/CD for data pipelines, automated deployments, monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimisation practices.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning; document designs, runbooks, and best-practice playbooks.
