Job Overview:
Hooqx is looking for a highly skilled and experienced AWS Engineer to join our technology team in Kolkata. The candidate must have more than 3–4 years of proven experience in managing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud. The role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while supporting development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS and DevOps tools.
• Configure and optimize services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Monitor cloud environments and ensure system reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and manage identity/access policies.
• Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide technical support to development teams.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS features, services, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience as an AWS Engineer or in a similar cloud engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Git).
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Good understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud security.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS DevOps Engineer) will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

• AWS Administrator: 4 years (Preferred)
