Hey there! If youre hunting for a seasoned AWS Admin with half a decade or more under their belt, here’s the sweet spot we’re usually after:
- Design & deploy scalable, faulttolerant AWS architectures (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and keep them humming
- Run cloudreadiness assessments and migrate onprem apps to AWS, while finetuning costoptimization tricks
- Automate infrastructure with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CodePipeline)
- Monitor performance & security via CloudWatch, XRay, and thirdparty tools; set up alerts and handle incident response
- Enforce IAM policies, encryption, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA) to keep the environment locked down
- Collaborate with dev teams to bake cloud best practices into their workflows and mentor junior engineers
- 58years handson AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Deep knowhow of networking & security (IAM, security groups, VPN, firewalls)
- Proven track record with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring/logging (CloudWatch, ELK, DataDog) and costmanagement
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator)
- Container expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
- Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management
