About The Role :
Job TitleAVP - Local Regulatory Reporting
LocationPune, India
Role Description

This role is for technical experienced role responsible for hands on development as an IC role. Hands on coding & unit testing of software applications. The candidate is expected to work closely with Business Product Owner and Lead Software Development to ensure good quality, maintainable, scalable and high performing software applications are delivered to users.

The candidate should be coming from a strong technical background with able to do coding/configuration changes independently.

Should be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance.

Work closely with team members and vendor team to design and develop software. Should have good communication skill and strong positive outlook.

The candidate should be skilled and proficient in Java Microservices which is mandatory. Reporting experience will be an added advantage.

Cloud experience also would be an added advantage.

Your key responsibilities

This role will be primarily responsible for IC code writing, testing and reviews.

Will get involved with hands-on code commits and configuration.

System Integration testing of developed software

Participate in code review of other team members

Participate in daily stand-up meetings

Articulate issues and risks to leads in timely manner

Analyse software defects and get them fixed in timely manner

Work closely with team to have defects resolved in a timely manner

Your skills and experience
Must have

Should be hands on in technology

Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience

Proficient in Core Java, Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot

Experience of Micro-Services & security configuration

Experience with JPA/Hibernate

Exposure to Cloud / Big Data technology

HDFS knowledge regarding storage, performance.

Hive, Impala working knowledge

Hands-on experience on Oracle SQL/PL SQL

CI/CD (Team City or Jenkins)

GitHub usage

Basic Commands on UNIX

Worked in Agile/Scrum software development environment.

Good verbal communication along with some team handling experience

Nice to have

Python/Spark / Livy knowledge with cloud as added advantage

Familiarity to Jira

Good to have SAFe Agile knowledge (ART) or experience.

Added advantage if handled team as a Scrum Master.
