Role & responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Data scientists and Data Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Direction: Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with the organizations goals, ensuring that data-driven insights are integrated into decision-making processes.
• Data Governance: Establish and oversee data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.
• Analytical Solutions: Design and implement advanced analytical solutions, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, to drive business performance and identify new opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence, evaluating and recommending tools and platforms that enhance analytical capabilities.
• Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of data analytics initiatives and report findings to senior leadership.
• Budget Management: Manage the data analytics budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present analytical findings and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of data-driven decision-making.

Desired candidate profile:

• Proven experience in developing and executing data analytics strategies that drive business value.
• Strong knowledge of Data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R) and data management platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Snowflake).
• Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
