Job Description

As a Corporate Business Development Manager at Howden, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets through corporate business development, customer acquisition, and corporate market mapping. Your key responsibilities will include: - Achieving revenue numbers through Corporate Business Development. - Leading the Customer Acquisition Function. - Conducting Corporate Market Mapping. - Building a sustainable Sales pipeline. - Managing relationships with Clients. - Establishing a strong network within Insurers / TPA. - Representing Howden among organizations. - Collaborating with the team to support regions in achieving target numbers. Your core capabilities should include being target-focused, having a strategic understanding of Corporate Sales and the business domain, market understanding and mapping, strong networking and relationship-building skills, effective teamwork, versatility, adaptability, and knowledge of business communication and technology tools. To be successful in this role, you should have over 10 to 18 years of direct corporate sales experience in insurance broking, along with a university degree (mandatory) and an appropriate insurance qualification preferred. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy of the company, including risk management and incident management in line with the defined ISMS framework. You should have an understanding of ISO 27001 and the overall ISMS framework of the company, participate in security training and awareness programs, and support internal and external audits, including security audits. Duties and roles have been adequately defined in various SOPs of QMS & ISMS.
